Christmas Turkey Legs

I read the Polar RS200 user manual thoroughly and logged into the Polar Personal Trainer website to create a 10 week training program to be able to run competitively in a 10k run. It suggested that I go for an 8k run today, so I went for a 10k run instead.

After about 10mins of soft jogging, I upped my pace. Instantly the watch started to beep again. I realised that it must be that my heart-rate is too high. Very annoying. Maybe some of the settings were wrong, because I was definitely not running and a dangerous pace.

Also; my legs must be completely surprised by the weight my body has put on over the Christmas period. My left knee began  to ache  after  about 4k, but not as badly as previously. However my right knee subtly ached and both of my ankles were sore by the end of the 10k. Hopefully this will subside over the next week.

Whinge, whinge, whinge! I completed the 10k in 50:44.
